Cantina el Sol — Restaurant in State of Mexico

My two daughters and I found this place while wandering around Nicolas Romero, Mexico one day. And we are soooooo glad we did! Our waiter, who also might be the owner was extremely friendly and welcoming. He spoke English well enough to communicate with us. We dont speak Spanish very well at all, but we're working on it! We all had the daily special which includes a large bowl of chicken broth soup that had squash and carrots in it. A plate of rice and then the main entre. One daughter and I had the beef with verde sauce and beans. My other daughter had the chicken and beans. It was more food than we could eat! We also had guava juice to drink. An absolutely wonderful experience, delicious food and our waiter bent over backwards to make sure we were happy! Everything only cost 150 pesos, which is around $7.50 USD.
