A solid hamburger joint on this side of Mexico City. Plenty of space and a great selection of dishes.
The first time we ate here we tried La Puerca and Double Trouble. Both came with HUGE portions which made for great leftovers. The beef patty (and the burgers overall) were a bit dry for our tastes and the other non-meat topics felt sparse. The added pork belly was delicious however.
We also ordered a kilo of fries, mixed between curly fries snd waffle fries. THESE definitely hit the spot and we're what we had been searching for for months. Perfectly crispy and seasoned!!! We just asked for ranch to complete it all (which was amazing btw)
The 2nd time we ordered the Sandwich de Ribeye and the BBQ Chicken Sandwich. Again, the meat in both were delicious but the sandwich overall felt dry. The ribeye felt like a legit piece of steak that I could've eaten apart. The chicken was panko-fried for a delicious texture. Both came on what seemed like house-made rolls and with some beans.
The prices weren't cheap(~150 pesos/person), but for a meal of this quality, it definitely felt worth it.
The wait staff was very attentive and the overall vibe is excellent. They've got TV with sports for you...
Read moreGreat casual vibe and friendly service. Some of the best burgers I've had outside the States. Double Trouble is massive if you're into huge burgers. The Mini Burger is about your average-size single-patty burger. All the other burgers are pretty big. The Mini Burger is my personal face because you can get a side of Mac and cheese with it. Not going all the way to Polanco for a good...
