Bennigan's Matamoros. — Restaurant in Tamaulipas

I suggest people avoid this place! The two of us paid almost $30 for a hamburger and a Cobb salad and one beverage. The charge for extra salad dressing was $2.50 absolutely astronomically stupid! The cobb salad was actually pretty good but it's not worth 15 freaking dollars. The hamburger took over 25 minutes to get, the meat was absolutely disgustingly cooked overcooked and the french fries were only semi edible. Probably an $8 hamburger if that. It took me 5 minutes of begging to get a glass of water not a bottle a glass of water and it came tepid and no ice. Service was just so so but I was so taken back at a barely passable meal and charge $30 that I left only a $2 tip. And that's actually not...

The food was great! We had the Cajun pasta with chicken and shrimp and it was delicious. Thumbs up for the kitchen! However, I can't say the same for the waitstaff and management in the front. They only took our order and didn't suggest any appetizers. The waiters were chatting in the back, and despite there being only 4 occupied tables at the time, the servers or manager didn't visit the table often to check if everything was okay. Place Has not changed in years. Pretty much same menu. Good thing is service. Waiters and waitresses make it worthwhile to eat there. They have a promotion on domestic beers 2x1 also lures the visit. A menu's replacement would be good. No the dishes themselves it is a chain so that is difficult but the actual printed ones are very beat up and worn out already. Food is good and...
