Los Portales — Restaurant in Tamaulipas

Ordered cabrito, waiter said they only had riñonada left, I said ok, 2 small pieces were brought, both with no meat, small kidney, rest were small ribs with no meat just membrane, spine had small amount of meat. No salad served, cup of beans cold and old. Waiter never came back except to bring bill. Paid 30 dollars. Never again, won't be back. Should of known when there were few customers on a Saturday...

Love this place. My to go place to go eat when i visit matamoros, love the food the service. When I go with different people to Matamoros I always take them here and they always love it because how the meat comes so juice and tender and you can choose of u want to cook it more when they bring the grill to your table.
