Maximilianos — Restaurant in Tamaulipas

Going the different route with chairs is not paying off and chairs are uncomfortable. Appetizer chips are cold and somewhat stale while two of the four salads are nothing special.Got a lemonade, had ice but was clearly room temp and not cold meaning they added the ice after serving the drink, as for the drink it tastes mediocre. I ordered my food and the service was lackluster with the waiter not being able to keep his eyes open and speaking as if he was whispering. I ordered a combo plus which is a burger, fries and wing. While my expectations are not high, I can only hope that this "fine dining" restaurant doesn't mess up even the most casual of foods. Food came and I can say that it was even worse than I thought, the fries were cold, unseasoned and pale. Then my wings were cooked right, the flavor was almost non-existent even with the help of ranch. My burger was overtaken by the flavor and juice of the lettuce and the meat wasn't fully cooked. My sisters ribs were cold, flavorless and dry enough that I had to drink after attempting to eat it. The corn she had on the side was surprisingly dry and had a processed tastes. While my sister described it perfectly "School corn". This place had placed so much funding into the appearances that they forgot to save some for the quality of the food and worthy waiters. I’ve been going to Maximiliano for a while for the past two times that I’ve been there. The services been really bad, they ignoring my daughters birthday I’ll let them know when we went in. It was for her birthday. Spend a lot of more extra time, and I have To ask them and tell them about it. The second time it my in-laws for his Birthday and completely ignoring us services. Was really bad. Every time I go there. I spend over Fifteen Hundred pesos. Which is 85, $120 dollars sometimes but due to the situation I don’t think I will go back. To tell the truth this is the second time we have come to Maximilianos. Why? Because the food here is so good! Everything from the burgers to the pasta... and you have to try the steaks! Cooked to perfection and full of flavor, everyone was very satisfied with the flavors. Our waiter Carlos was friendly and very attentive. He made our evening a first rate experience.
