El Mirador de Ticul — Restaurant in Ticul

This place was amazing. From the views on the top of the hill over looking the town and the other hills in the distance to the service of the staff to the delicious food they prepared. The manager was also really friendly and thanked us multiple times for visiting the restaurant. They have been opened for 27 years and the place has the most spectacular breeze flowing through due to its hilltop location. There is also a pool with the same stunning veiws at the restaurant which we sadly didn't get to use but is a lovely addition to take the experience to another level. We ordered empinadas with the local Chaya leaves, pan de cazon and queso relleno which was all fabulous. We also ordered and pitcher of tamarind juice which was quite refreshing. Not only a good restaurant but actually a bit of a destination. We had no other reason for being in Ticul except to eat here. We were the only customers at lunch time. I suggest parking at the bottom of the hill and walking up the stairs. Rear corner table has best view. They are renovating the pool. Be careful while driving in the town if you have a tourist look to your vehicle, this is one of those towns where the police are happy to stop you. Would definitely visit again. Friendly and...

Despues de visitar Uxmal y la ruta PUC Está este lugar con Muy buena Vista, podrás ver toda el área de Ticul desde la altura de los cerros, para llegar esa bien señalizado y aunque la entrada es de terracería pueden entrar autos pequeños

El restaurante es algo ingenioso ya que ellos producen su propio Pescado, y algunas hortalizas.

Ya en el menú te puedes encontrar muchos platos típicos yucatecos, les recomiendo los Papadzules que están de 10

El Pescado es muy barato ya que es producido allí mismo, están en una pecera donde puedes verlos, de allí son tomados y directo a la cocina.....más fresco no podrían estar....del estanque al plato, tienen muy buen sabor y vienen acompañados de guarniciónes y ensaladas

El ceviche tiene buen sabor aunque pequeño pero rico y barato

Un detalle muy típico son las tortillas ya que vienen en un recipiente vegetal llamado Lec donde se mantienen calientitas

La atención de los meseros es buena y están atentos

El lugar tiene algunas carencias en cuanto a vida o mantenimiento, pero la vista y ubicación es de las mejores

En la parte trasera tienen una piscina, y también te pueden poner mesa allí aunque se ve que está un poco descuidada el área.... requiere mantenimiento y limpieza.
