Wow! We kept trying to come here but were always too late or too early and they weren't open (don't trust the hours listed on Google). We finally made it in time and it was well worth the wait! The drinks, to start with, were the best we've had so far in this area- fresh ingredients and made to order with obvious love and talent. Our server was perfectly accommodating- attentive and quick but not rushed. We were served a some plates of small appetizers- crunchy jicama and carrots with chamoy, potatos and refried black beans with fried tostadas. We ordered the empanadas de queso bola, which were that great balance of crispy with creamy cheese. My husband had the panuchos and I had the shrimp papadzules. As delicious as it all was, the portions were quite generous and we could not finish it so we will look forward to having our leftovers for breakfast! And all this for a very affordable price. This place is doing it right- a...

Honestly we were told that all the restaurants in the area were ok. My take on this one. Ceviche was fair. Big portion but chewy and wouldn't get again. My wife's coconut shrimp was really good. My land and sea skewers served on a pineapple w a flame was literally inedible. My wife does not recall me ever not eating something so to clarify I'm as unpicky as it comes. It was truly awful. Margaritas were good. In conclusion, if you really want to go then get margaritas and coconut shrimp and you...

Great food, and very friendly service; and balloon animals, if you're nice. We slept in, showed up at noon, and they were happy to make us breakfast. Their breakfast menu is new, but they are off to a good start. Coffee, juice, a small plate of fruit, yogurt, and Granola. All of that was before our actual breakfast order came out to us. The prices are very reasonable, and did I mention the great service.

We loved the food at Cristo Rey! We ordered the coconut shrimp and the mixed ceviche — both were absolutely delicious. We got our food to go, and the service was super fast. The person who helped us was incredibly kind and friendly. I’ll definitely be coming back as soon as I can. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend giving this place a try — it’s a true local gem!
