Meating Point — Restaurant in Centru Sector

In the beginning, I ordered dishes and a latte, emphasizing the first vowel. This detail becomes crucial in the unfolding narrative. After a minute, I overheard the waiter mocking my accent and the way I pronounced "latte" (which, by the way, was correct). They ridiculed my youthful appearance (I'm 20 years old) and questioned why I, seemingly a well-off person of my age, would be sitting there. Additionally, they kept my omelet, which inexplicably took 40 minutes to make. Instead of attending to their duties, the staff spent their time discussing customers they didn't like. I initiated the conversation in russian, as I am a citizen of Bulgaria, assuming that a significant portion of Moldovans understands russian. I would have switched to english if the waiter had asked. The service was terrible, and the local vibe of this place is indescribably...

It used to be a very nice place with good quality of food. Now you can see that the situation has changed, it was clear even by the fact that the restaurant was empty (before it always was full especially on weekends). Service was slow and weird. Food was just didn’t taste good. I had a duck, with was boiled, not spiced, and plane, total disappointment. My mom had a past that was cold when they brought it. We politely asked to warm it, which they did, but after that the cook came to the room and started to discuss something with the waiter, looking at out table and laughing. Very weird experience.

The avocado bruschetta looked a few days old. I asked for sparkling water with ice and the server forgot about it and only after 15 minutes when I asked again about my water did she came back with flat water and no ice. She never came back to ask how was the food or if we wanted anything else. I wanted to order a steak, but decided not to after the service received. Very disappointed. The waiter didn’t even came to see if we need the bill. We left the money on the table and left. Probably should’ve waited to get refunded for the bruschetta, but I couldn’t spend an other...
