I looked for a good Chinese restaurant for a few days while staying in Ulaanbaartar. I finally found JK restaurant. As when I get in and speak English, they can barely respond to me 😅. Luckily the menu has English with pictures. Also price is reasonable for me. In Mongolia it hardly see the pork menu because pork is not popular here. I ordered fried eggplant and pork bone soup. It’s quite took time to serve the first dish. But as when it arrived I stunned 🤩 it looks very delicious. Its taste is really good, sweet and little sour, I love it!❤️ while I enjoyed the eggplants I thought they forgot the soup. So I followed up and the waitress told me it took sometimes to cook. When the chef came out to serve the soup I stunned again. It’s a large bowl soup😳. The broth is white, the pork bones are tender filled with many corns and carrots. It is rich flavor and I can say this is the best pork bone soup I have ever tasted 🤤. I am still missing its taste as when I write the review. High recommended for Chinese...

No action was taken to rectify the issue beyond charging me for the actual dumplings I received. Not very impressed by...
Read moreAbsolutely horrible experience. One of my friends ended up with food poisoning a few hours after we ate here. To make things even worse, we literally found an insect in the rice. Disgusting.
When we tried to bring it up to the staff, they acted like it was no big deal and were incredibly rude. No apology, no refund—just attitude. The service was unbelievably slow too. We waited nearly 40 minutes for cold food that tasted off to begin with.
Avoid this place at all costs. Not worth risking...
