Marmaris Kebab&Grill — Restaurant in Ulaanbaatar

I think this place has promise but I wouldn’t go so far as to call it great or even that good right now. The interior is quite nice and pleasant, service is polite but I notice they mix up orders a lot and are somewhat slow on the uptake. The döner kebab plate has pretty stingy portions and the cuts are a bit too thick for my liking. The dish might look like a lot on the photo but that’s due to the two very large and very fluffy pieces of bread right under the meat. Mostly the dish is just carbs and for 35k, I feel it’s somewhat cheap. The tombik has a very nice pide but it’s stacked with veggies at the bottom while overflowing with meat at the top which makes it look way more generous than it actually is. At the bottom third, I was just eating lettuce and tomatoes. The mercimek was very weak on the salt. I rarely write reviews, but what happened here demands a warning to others. This restaurant is a health hazard and should be closed immediately.

My little sister is 11 years old. While she was eating, she found a PIECE OF GLASS in her meal. This is beyond unacceptable; it is terrifying and could have led to a severe injury. How does something like that even get into the food?

On top of this unforgivable safety breach, the food was terrible. It was either completely bland or so salty and peppery that you couldn't taste anything else. We also saw a chef smoking in the kitchen, which is disgusting and unhygienic. The place also had a nasty smell.

I don't understand how this establishment is still open. Please, do not risk your health or your family's health by eating here. We are lucky we found the glass before it...

I have been going to this restaurant consistently for the last few months. The overall design of the place feels very authentic. The grill plates are definitely a must buy. Personally, didn’t really enjoy the wraps or the tombiks. The burgers at this place is a masterpiece, the beef and the cheese together creates a very satisfying taste. The side salads keep the palate refreshed. The teas at this place very considerably good.
