El Rey Snack Bar — Restaurant in undefined

If you get stranded on the road or something happens to you, try to avoid coming here!!

We stopped by to have a coffee and enjoy the view. At that moment, we noticed a problem with the tire of our rental car. Since the tools in our car were not enough to change the tire, we asked the restaurant staff for help. At first, the male staff members tried to assist us. However, the tool that could actually help was in the car of the girl working at the bar/café, so the male staff borrowed it from her. While one of the male staff members was trying to loosen the tire with her tool by forcefully stomping on it, the tip of the tool broke. Out of politeness, we offered to cover any cost if necessary, but they said nothing. Later, the girl came and asked for 20 Euros, which my husband gave her. In our lives, we had never seen such behavior toward a customer—especially one in a difficult situation.

In Budva, we had the tire fixed and bought a replacement for the broken tool. We went back to the restaurant, but the girl said it wasn’t original and refused to return the 20 Euros.

El Ray Snack Bar — a bar in a fantastic location, with a beautiful sea view. On paper, it seems like the perfect place to relax, sip a cocktail, and enjoy some tasty food. Unfortunately, the reality didn’t quite live up to the promise.

The service was disappointing — the staff gave off the impression that every request was a bother. We ordered a Margarita and pancakes. No fruits were available — just plain Nutella, and even that felt uninspired. We waited too long, and the ice cream we ordered was forgotten not once, but twice. By the time the pancakes arrived, they had cooled off — and so had our interest.

To be fair, the only real plus is the pricing — though even that depends on what you order. I was so disappointed I didn’t even take a photo — and for me, that says a lot.

This place has potential, truly. But as it stands now, it feels flat, unmotivated, and far from memorable. With such a location, it could be a vibrant, soulful place — but right now, it’s just a stop on the map you won’t feel the...

I have been there several times and was always satisfied till yesterday. My husband and I ordered a caesar salad and a toast sandwich. A toast sandwich consist in HOT toasts, HOT eggs, HOT crispy bacon and HOT french fries. after 2 minutes the toast sandwich was served - iCE COLD - but not the salad. I told the waiter that it was impossible that the plate was the one we ordered and that it was surely a plate which has been ordered before by someone who refused it in the meantime. NO reaction. i received my salad - correct - and told him that we refuse the toast. At our surprise he came back with the same plate that has been put in the MICRO wave. Till today I didn't know that eggs, toasts and french fries can be made in a micro. THIS IS TOTALY UNACCEPTABLE. We paid for all and for the first time I didn't let a tip telling the waiter to thank the kitchen. I am not sure we will go back again which is a pitty because it is a very nice place with a very nice...
