Friendly, inviting family owned and operated business. The restaurant is simple, as its primary customers are people staying on the farm. So while it doesn’t have a printed menu, the food offered is all made with fresh local ingredients. The portion sizes are generous, one meal is plenty for two people. Because of this, pricing is also very reasonable. I ordered the steak, which is the local Montenegrin word for boneless pork chop. It was seasoned well and came with a nice variety of grilled vegetables (there is also the option for potatoes instead). While some may not consider this a Montenegrin meal, it is a quintessential Montenegrin cuisine and well prepared. The tomato, paprika, and cucumber salad was also very nice and refreshing after a day of hiking. Oh, and don’t pass on the soup as it was divine. Breakfast was also just a good and quintessential Balkan.

We came here after a long drive to the park, wanting to avoid the more touristic Zabljak. What a dream! A really romantic and beautiful setting with a couple of outdoor tables, benches set around a well, and the kindest most proficient hostess one can hope for. We were soon settled for a simple but superb lunch of chicken, stuffed cabbage and the most beautiful cabbage salad we’ve had in the country (plus wonderful affordable wine). The hostess’ sister is such a superb cook we asked for the cabbage recipe. Inside there’s a slight David Lynch vibe which we appreciated. So worth supporting this kind of intimate family endeavour. Go!

A lovely family-run place with accommodation and a simple restaurant near famous Žabljak. I came for a breakfast and got greeted by the owners who quickly prepared a coffee and a wholesome home-made meal. And I loved it - Simple, delicious and from their own or local ingredients. Quiet, located completely out of the tourist areas with a pretty view over the mountain plains. Unfortunately, it seems they are only open in summer, but if I get another chance, I would love to stay over night. Thank you!

After reading numerous positive reviews about the delicious food, we decided to visit this place following a hike in Durmitor. The location is a bit out of the way and not immediately recognizable.

Our expectations were high, but the reality was disappointing. There was no menu provided; instead, we were verbally offered grilled vegetables, steaks, and salad, with no mention of prices. The "steaks" were actually thick, unseasoned pieces of fried pork. The grilled vegetables were zucchini slices drenched in oil, and the salad was simply sliced tomatoes. The grape compote was the only decent item.

For two portions, we were charged 30 euros. If you're in search of authentic and tasty Montenegrin cuisine, it's best to...
