The service here is so bad it's not worth sitting here not even for drinks!!!

To start of the experience - I was rudely greeted by waiters who kept switching me from table to table because I'm not allowed to sit near the view because those are "larger tables" for more guests (there were 2 of us who wanted to eat lunch here), that would've been a fair point if ALL OF THE TABLES WEREN'T FOR 4 PEOPLE. Which I said to the waiter and then he reluctantly told me to sit at the table where- TWO women just got up mind you!?). The tables he wanted to sit as at were literally at the back of the restaurant in between brick walls where it looked like a garden shed...

The waiter was sooo immensely rude and when he realized we would eat more, his tone changed a tiny bit but still was very passive aggressive and all of the people who he was serving were clearly uncomfortable by it.

We ordered Kajmak which is a cold served appetizer and a fish pate (Pašteta). We were served Kačamak... Which is CLEARLY not what we ordered and when I asked what that was he replied - That's what you ordered... Later I found out from the people in the kitchen that he SPECIFICALLY WROTE KAJMAK and told Them to put in the bill KAČAMAK which is the more expensive dish. The person working there said that it was weird to her but she didn't think much of it since he said that's what to do..... I asked the rest of the staff about it and how we never got what we ordered and they were really nice about it ( but clearly like that's not the first time this has happened, even seeing by the rest of the reviews). I thankfully didn't pay for what I didn't order.

What did happen, was the rude waiter took the bill and ran to my friend at the table asking if she was paying (SO THAT HE CAN PROBABLY CHARGE THE FULL AMOUNT) Which the other staff noticed and told me to go to him and pay myself - which I clearly came to do at the register.....

OH and BTW they served us CANNED TUNA AS PAŠTETA.... The portions were big but very poor in flavor and overall the prices wasn't worth it at all.

The one star is literally for the nice staff inside that solved the problem, otherwise this is the worst service I've gotten so far in Montenegro and we've been driving through the...

Summary: bring your own food and sit on one of the many benches around the lake.

First up, I think the positive reviews here are for the lake scenery and not the restaurant. The lake scenery is marvelous and definitely 5/5. This review however, is solely for the restaurant and not the lake.

Food: Since we weren't super hungry our order was simple but the result terrible. The coffee was cold and didn't taste good, the chicken soup was packaged soup (which isn't uncommon in tourist places), barely warm and super salty. The apple pie with straciatella was cold and actually tasted so bad that both of us didn't eat more than one bite. When we left I noticed quite a few people had left more than half their plates unfinished.

Service: We waited around 3 minutes till the waiter, who was standing at the entrance talking to his colleagues, turned around and asked us what we want in quite a rough tone. We asked to eat something and he seated us on a table with lettuce pieces, french fries and oil spots on it (he didn't remove then either for our entire stay). After taking our order eith a frown on his face, pretty much tossing the plates on the table, not asking if we liked the food or anything, he still expected a tip. I understand some people don't like tourists but maybe work in a different field then. This was the first person in Montenegro that was not friendly at all.

Atmosphere: Inside is neither special nor nice. I can imagine the outside is incredible when the sun is out, hence I am giving 3 stars here but that's...

I had a very unpleasant experience here today. As an Asian woman traveling alone, I was waiting quietly in line to be seated. The waiter skipped me and gave the table to a group of four people who arrived later than me. One of them even pointed out that I had been waiting, (nice group, they even hesitate to sit because maybe they also felt it was inappropriate) but the waiter ignored it. When I finally stopped a waitress, the waitress said I don’t get my table because I go outside and come back again. That’s why I lost my seat??? I strongly denied it and said I had been standing right there all along. She: oh sorry I didn’t see you (???excuse me

Later, when it came to ordering, the same thing happened: other guests who arrived later were served first, while I was overlooked again until I spoke up twice :/ Being treated as if I was invisible made me feel extremely uncomfortable. I cannot say the reason they did that but obviously it’s rude. Tourists, especially those traveling alone and from different backgrounds deserve respect and fairness, not to be ignored.

And food: I stayed here just because this is the only restaurant I can find near the place, but… I should back to town.… The pork is raw and tastes weird (but chicken soup is good, I should be fair). Meanwhile, I thought lemonade should with honey or sugar but it’s nothing side with and it’s...
