Restoran Niagara — Restaurant in undefined

The restaurant itself is located in a beautiful place next to the waterfall. This is the only reason I am giving 5 stars for the atmosphere, but my overall first time experience was poor. The service was extremely slow! I went during a week day and the restaurant as you can see was not even busy from my videos. No one greeted me. No one welcomed me. I waited over an hour to be served and still no one and I had to call someone to my table.

I asked the waiter I wanted the dish from the photo of their online menu. He advised me this was beef. It was totally different to what I had received and it also wasn’t cooked as it was pink inside. Why did they have fried coating around the meat? But the photo did not have this? The meat looks brown in the menu and the meat I had was white and pink with fried batter around it? I have attached the screen shot of the menu to what I wanted and attached what I received. I didn’t eat the pink and white batter meat but they still charged me full price for it even I explained it wasn’t what I had ordered and wanted after specifically showing the photo from their menu.

Lucky I ordered mushrooms for starters and I had the mushrooms. The food was bland and no flavour no seasoning and no taste.

I was so disappointed as I was recommended this restaurant.

The only good thing was that they helped me order a taxi to go back to Podgorica town.

I had a disappointing experience and hardly no one spoke English and the food was awful.

Clearly you can see I was there from afternoon and my meal arrived evening...

So we went to this place being very positive despite the negative reviews that we read here. Hoping that even with the negative statements about the food which some say is just average, at least the view will make up for it. When we arrived, we were trying to get their waiter’s attention to help us find a table and possibly help with our order, but no one responded. So we just went straight to look for a place to sit. I think it was not a busy day as there were many empty tables that day. When we made ourselves comfortable in an unoccupied and unreserved table, we attempted to call for a waiter and gave it few more minutes of waiting. About 35mins and perhaps even more, a waiter came however didn’t speak in English, and just made hand gestures which we didn’t understand. We thought he would send someone who could perhaps speak a little bit of English to take our orders. Unfortunately, no one came to us. We even used their “Scan Me” option for us to know what to order. They were entertaining other customers ( who speak the same language). We gave up and decided to leave and focus on the view. Such a shame, the area around the restaurant looks great but staff service I must say was poor. If you are a tourist, perhaps you need more patience that would last hours. Bring your own food and have a mini dry picnic around the area and clean up afterwards. Maybe, just take a few photos, take a dip, then find another place to eat. Anyway, not everyone who visits the place would also dine in. By average, some would just take...

I was nervous about coming here because of the reviews...but I was pleasantly surprised! The place was crowded as expected and I can understand it. What an amazing spot! Just have patience; I had to wait about 15 minutes for a table to open up. You just have to find an empty table and sit. That's what one of the bartenders said. At least 2 spoke English, so communication was no problem.

A very polite, English speaking waiter came to take my drink order within about 5 minutes. I ordered a tuna salad and it arrived in about 10 minutes. I ate and enjoyed the view for about an hour. Afterwards, I ordered the sausages and fries. They arrived after about 15 minutes. All of the things I ordered were freshly prepared and delicious! Huge portion sizes and filling. Easy ordering and paying. The waiter was very kind and working very hard, so I of course left him a good tip and thanked him for his prompt service. I got to take a walk around afterwards before my pre-scheduled Taxi arrived to pick me up.

Highly recommended and I'll return again before my trip ends. I suggest pre-scheduling your pick-up and allow yourself at least 4-5 hours to really soak up the beauty and joy of this place. I used Tesla Taxi to bring me there and take me back. Scheduled both on the app and they arrived on time. So if you don't have internet, you're already set before you leave the hotel wi-fi! Niagara is a wonderful experience and well...
