When I first came here, about one or maybe two years ago, just after they opened up after being closed during the total covid lockdown, things were amazing.
Really, really good food, wich tasted amazing, filling your belly up for real (especially the cous cous in Fridays), and nice things to choose from in the dessert menu.
A little pricey, but it was still worth it.
Also, low background music wich allowed you to really listen to the ocean (wich is this restaurant biggest selling point, being located on a cliff next to and over the ocean.
Now (June 10 2022) all of these selling points are gone with the wind. Maybe it is the arrival of tourists, after the country opening up, or some kind of change in staff. I don't know. But it's sad.
The food is now remarkably worse, in every way; higher prices, smaller portions, but worst of all, it is just not as good as it used to be. The love is gone. This regards all food on the menu.
The music, that used to be barely noticeable in the background, is now dominating the experience. So much, that you actively have to look for a table not being to close to the loudspeakers. Also, on irregular occasions, there is some kind of troubadour with a keyboard making even more noice. It's really weird, since this place have the magic of the ocean sound to just let it play.
The view is the only thing that is still in the best quality, but since there is a lot of construction going on outside, just next to the restaurant, all of these noices bring the overall experience down. I understand this problem is out of the restaurants control, but it is still a problem.
And yes, we have asked about all of these problems many times, without proper response.
We have visited this place almost every week for a long time now, so we have a real perspective about this.
It is sad to see this could - be - pearl sink like a stone. Really sad.
I hope it will change to the better soon. This location...

Iv been here so many time trying to give it a chance , but i face the same bad service that it only enough was able to make everything else not worth it . The view to the beach is fascinating and the place it self is beautiful to stay at , but sorry cant give more than 2 star for the very bad service. Food was arriving very late tho we did reserve and place our order before even coming here to save time . But yet it was as slow and late as it always is. The food it self ain't that big of a deal or that special. Any restaurant would make that and way better. In fact , we did order a tajin today that really didn't taste that good . No oil to dip the bread , very dry and It was a bit bitter which is not good . Id give it a 4/10 . Thats it i hope its helpful. But yet its just an opinion. I recommend u give it a try and judge by yourself. Your experience may be...
