Food was nice. Fantastic even! I’m hear to talk about the service, as it’s absolutely horrendous. We brought our non-verbal autistic family member, and as she began to eat: a couple of the staff who are chefs decided it was apparently the funniest thing in the world. They gathered near the window like teenagers and began to laugh and giggle. Abandoning their work stations even! Grown men with beards acting like bullies! I get there may be cultural boundaries, but this was just genuinely rude and highly immature. The cashier (wearing a hijab and glasses) seemed to have an unfriendly attitude and even appeared to mock us for speaking English while speaking with the chefs, after we asked to return a drink. Just to clarify, we’re a trilingual family and tend to speak English among ourselves out of habit, but we made sure to place our order in both French and Darija, as the waiter was comfortable with both languages. The second we entered just speaking English we were stared at. So odd and uncomfortable ??? We were just trying to eat in peace- not have staff lean in to our private conversations. Another thing: treating their black workers with a lack of respect. Seriously guys? When has skin colour ever been a factor in how well one works??? We are all one people under God. Highly childish and unprofessional. At the very least, the young man drying the dishes and woman brushing the floors were highly respectful and didn’t bother us once whilst eating! The only two in that whole establishment doing their job properly and not messing around, they deserve a raise honestly. It’s sad because this place has so much potential decor and food wise yet the egotistical staff really do ruin the vibe. We came here to relax and enjoy food, nothing more and we expect nothing less! Please guys seriously consider upping ur game because this isn’t it. Either give your staff a stern talking to or change them out. Don’t let these replaceable employees cost you your franchise. Don’t discriminate against people just because of what you see with the naked eye. That simple really, have a nice day and I hope God further...

Kyoto Sushi is the kind of place that reminds you what a good dining experience should feel like. From the moment you walk in, you notice the calm and thoughtful decoration. It is not overwhelming, but it has enough detail to catch your attention and set the right mood for enjoying food. Even the bathroom stands out, since it is spotless and has a pleasant smell, which tells you the restaurant pays attention to small details.

The staff make the experience even better. They are welcoming, cheerful, and attentive without being overbearing. They treat you with the kind of care that makes you feel like an honored guest rather than just another customer. Service is quick, but what stands out is how genuine and friendly the team is.

Now, the food is on another level. Every bite feels comforting, like eating something made with care. The flavors are rich and balanced, and I found myself slowing down to enjoy every piece. I even felt emotional while eating because the dishes were that delicious. Dishes this good are not easy to find.

I did think at first that the prices were higher than some other places, but the quality proved otherwise. The freshness of the ingredients, the skill in preparation, and the overall experience made it worth every penny. Kyoto Sushi is a place I would go back to again and again to try more of their menu. It is not just a meal, it is an experience...

Hands down, this is the best sushi spot in Casablanca. Every dish we tried was a standout — from the incredibly fresh sushi to the perfectly balanced wakame salad, the flavorful Pad Thai, and the melt-in-your-mouth bao buns. The cheesecake at the end was the perfect finishing touch.

What truly sets this place apart, though, is not just the food but the hospitality. The staff’s warmth and attentiveness made us feel right at home, even with a group of 10+ people. We were accommodated with ease, never rushed, and treated with genuine care.
