As an American traveling to Casablanca, Morocco for the first time, I was incredibly impressed with the hospitality shown to me and my family at Anatolia. Not only were they kind enough to squeeze us in for dinner even though we didn’t have reservations, but they (the owner, manager, waiters, musicians, etc) also went out of their way to engage with my brother (who happens to be in a wheelchair and non-verbal) and my 10-month old daughter. The manager even brought over the chef to clarify the instructions for how my brother’s puréed meal should be prepared. The owner stopped at our table, made us feel welcome, and extended kindness beyond necessity.
Aside from the wonderful people at Anatolia, it has a lovely, classy, and energized ambiance. There were beautiful and lavish decorations and lighting throughout the place. Additionally, the music was incredible. A talented musician entranced the audience with her lovely violin and charismatic smile and energy.
The food, of course, was simply amazing. We ordered virgin cocktails, steaks, kebabs, and dessert and enjoyed all of it. The flavors were a treat for the tongue. Although traveling to foreign countries is difficult, visiting Anatolia again may be the motivation I need to come back to Morocco...
Read moreI visited this pool restaurant with a friend. I ordered filet de boeuf with red berries juice, then kofta with a pineapple smoothie, and finished with brownies and ice cream. I paid 390 MAD for my food. The food was good. The staff were friendly, they smiled, paid attention, and checked if I needed anything BUT the service was very, very slow. That was the main downside.
For the pool, 300 MAD per person. That included the towel and transat, but no food or drinks. The pool is shared with Passage Fitness gym members, and they use seawater, not fresh water. Honestly, it doesn’t deserve the price for what it gives. Also, you only get one towel, and they refuse to provide a second if the first gets too wet.
✨= good food, friendly service but too slow, and the pool is overpriced for...
Read moreWhat an experience! From the moment we walked in we were treated like royalty. We made a reservation for 7PM, they gave us a great table with a view of the patio and as soon as we were settled in, Zeakaria greeted us and told us he would take care of us with a specialty juice, which I must add—delicious! He proceeded to curate an amazing 3 course menu for us, choosing from the restaurants most popular dishes, we didn’t have to choose a thing. Akin, the general manager stopped by to check in and gave us an awesome show. cooking the steak right then and there. Apps, steak and dessert were great but most importantly the service was probably the best I’ve had, thank you again! We’ll be back from brunch and probably dinner once more before we...
