Slm HI everybody, My friend and I are a big fun of trying new Cafe's pastry. So we were happy yesterday to try the black forest and the carrot cake. BUT We found a worm in the carrot cake They came quickly took it to the kitchen And came to discuss 3times To say it is impossible to find a worm in a cake, it should be cooked with the cake, I said maybe it was in the table or in the carrot (decorating the cake) bref they were in complete denial they even said it came from the garden (but it was a food worm) They keep asking us to take another piece (twice) then ask us to take another pastry then bring a tiramisu which we didn't accept. Finally we understood why they keep asking for a replacement, actually they made us pay for a carrot cake with a worm that we didn't eat 🤢 We paid and left. We didn't ask for anything (they didn't apologize or anything else just ghost us at that time) So I do this to let you know that was my experience with "café society " and that I said nothing yesterday because I didn't want to ruin the whole experience, a pastry with a worm🐛 was enough Ps: In my opinion the worm was in the walnuts, we did our analysis too 🤓, it was the only way to keep it away...
