Complexe La Cascade is a Moroccan restaurant located in the Chorniche district of Casablanca. The restaurant is known for its traditional Moroccan cuisine, as well as its beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean. The restaurant has a large outdoor terrace that is perfect for enjoying a meal on a warm day. The interior of the restaurant is decorated in traditional Moroccan style, with low ceilings, intricate tilework, and colorful lanterns. The menu at Complexe La Cascade features a variety of traditional Moroccan dishes, including tagines, couscous, and pastilla. The restaurant also offers a selection of seafood dishes, as well as a few international options. The food at Complexe La Cascade is delicious and authentic. The tagines are particularly good, and the couscous is cooked to perfection. The seafood dishes are also fresh and flavorful. The service at Complexe La Cascade is friendly and attentive. The staff is happy to make recommendations and answer any questions about the menu. The prices at Complexe La Cascade are reasonable. A meal for two will typically cost around 200-300 dirhams. Overall, Complexe La Cascade is a great choice for a delicious and authentic Moroccan meal. The food is excellent, the service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Casablanca.

it’s was perfect. The food at the restaurant was exceptional, offering exquisite flavors, artistic presentation and high-quality ingredients meticulously prepared by skilled chefs. Each dish was a masterpiece, leaving a lasting impression in the mouth. Additionally, the people in the restaurant, from the staff to the other diners, contributed to the overall enjoyment of the experience. The staff was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable, ensuring that every need was met with grace and professionalism. And sharing the dining experience with other guests who enjoyed fine dining added to the ambiance, making it a truly enjoyable and memorable occasion. I thank the manager Matias, for his welcome and his generosity

Truly a bad experience ! We’ve never feel so unwelcomed . Our server was truly not happy to be there and treated us very poorly. We went to watch the match Morocco vs France and clearly only cared about her friends , very poor representation of Moroccan hospitality. She refused to serve us snacks , took 20 mins to get our orders , once we order refused to give us a vegetarian pasta ( although was on the menu ) and lastly tried to over charge us on the bill and argued with us . Really no need to visit On the other hand Lola , the hostess was awesome and cared a lot ! And our visit the night before was delightful and super well looked after …

Ambiance and Views

Guests frequently highlight the restaurant's stunning seaside setting. One reviewer remarked, "The most beautiful Ocean View in Morocco," underscoring the visual appeal that complements the dining experience. Another patron noted the "amazing terrace" and described it as an "unforgettable night," suggesting that the ambiance significantly enhances the overall visit.

Culinary Experience

The menu at La Cascade offers a variety of dishes, with some guests expressing satisfaction with their meals. A diner commented on the "fantastic cuisine," particularly praising the "fresh oysters" and the "exceptional" wine list. However, not all feedback has been positive. One customer expressed disappointment with the tomahawk steak, stating, "We expected a better cooking after the fireworks," indicating that certain dishes may not consistently meet expectations.

Conversely, there have been reports of less favorable interactions. A customer recounted an incident involving a manager named Adil, describing him as "aggressive" and noting that he "did not respect us," which negatively impacted their dining experience.

Pricing and Value

Concerns regarding pricing have been raised by several patrons. One reviewer labeled the establishment as a "tourist trap," highlighting discrepancies in pricing between locals and tourists. They cited specific examples, such as a bottle of red wine priced at 1,000 MAD and a bottle of water at 100 MAD, suggesting that the cost may not align with the perceived value.

I always come to this restaurant during my stay in Morocco as the view and the localisation is amazing ! But yesterday l was shocked about kind of discrimination as my moroccan language was clear without any protocol of british born ! I informed security that l m meeting friend that he will join me here he told me clearly that the access is prohibited ( interdit in french ) and is with booking ! I told him with booking l can understand but interdit what does this mean exactly ??

I had to go away and informed my friend whos not Moroccan citizen that they didn’t allow me the entrance as is with booking l? My friend was a bit surprised as is monday and usually he goes with no booking !

Effectively my friend went to the cascade while l was driving around the corniche to find somwhere else ! After a longway far from the cascade my friend called me telling me that l could have access without any booking suggestion at the entry !! Then l had to make again my way back !

I would like to know why this act have been made is really deceptive ? Is because we are not having the MRE look as its become very popular place in summer period ?or it is with the booking for moroccan and no booking for no moroccan ? security was informing me on second time that is instructions from the boss , l can tell the boss with all the empty table that you was having yesterday this kind of instructions l can give one year or two and your restaurant will be close for sure l will never suggest this restaurant anymore neither to my moroccan circle or from abroad !!

I can understand instruction for booking in week end or when its become really busy ! But how can instruction of booking is in place and you have only two table busy and my whole stay was no client...

My wife and I were looking for a great place near the water to have some drinks and La Cascade was one of the places highly recommended from everyone in her family. So without hesitation we took a taxi from the center of Casablanca to try this restaurant, so I can enjoy some adult beverages and the wonderful views of the Atlantic Ocean off Casablanca.

We walked through an intense security check before proceeding down stairs. Once we got to the bottom we asked the manager where the bar was and he said the bar is closed but to eat something and drink at the table. The problem was it was only 4pm (16:00) and we were not quite hungry yet. We just had lunch at 1pm (13:00) so we kindly said let us drink for now and we can order food later on. They did not accept this as an answer and kept pushing us to order a dish.

At this point my wife is frustrated as we still haven't gotten a chance to order a beverage and right when we attempted to another server came by to display a live lobster and the rest of the fish specials.

Don't get me wrong, this restaurant is beautiful and the views of the water are stunning but the idea that they spotted an American and immediately pressed his Moroccan wife to order right away was incredibly rude.

My wifes family have been here a number of times and have never experienced anything like this. The sad thing was the restaurant was empty on the first two levels and had plenty of space where we were sat for other clients. Instead of letting us enjoy our time they ran us off with their aggressive approach. We won't...
