Le Basmane — Restaurant in arrondissement d'Anfa مقاطعة أنفا

The Restaurant is nice and the spectacle as well (dancers to amuse the dinner). The food is good for the price (let’s take into account that a main dish ie a tajine is around 22e) tasty and big portions. But the service was awful, when we arrived for dinner the place was almost empty, only 4 or 5 tables occupied, well the waiter sent us to a table that already prepared at the end of the restaurant next to another 2 tables with foreigners. The table was dirty, they didn’t change the tablecloth and it had breadcrumbs on it and wine stains still humid from previous client. I’m sorry this is not acceptable for a place where you will spend 100e for two persons. Other thing that happened to me, was that I ordered the “Moroccan The “ to have dinner with it, well they brought it late I was already on the main dish,(they don’t bring the tea pot). A waiter just comes from time to time and serves you, for me first time was while eating my main dish which coincided with the 1st time for the clients next to me (just arrived) then after ten minutes, I had already finished well the guy didn’t even served me. I guess they were trying to kick us as soon as possible. I’m not very into alcoholic drinks but those 4cl or 5cl of Moroccan Thé were charged as wishkey price at least 3euros.....

I don’t suggest this place I give two starts because the food was fair...

Wow — just wow! The food, the service, the interior — everything was absolutely fantastic. This is easily one of the best places we’ve visited in all of Casablanca. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by the warm atmosphere and stylish decor, which perfectly balanced elegance with authentic Moroccan charm.

We originally came to see the belly dancer, but unfortunately arrived just a bit too late — she performs between 9:30 and 10:00 PM, so make sure to be on time if that’s part of your plan! Still, even without the performance, the experience was unforgettable.

The food was delicious — rich in flavor and beautifully presented. The service was impeccable as well: professional, attentive, and incredibly welcoming. You can really tell that the staff care about creating a memorable experience for their guests.

We highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Casablanca. Whether you're there for the show, the food, or just a night out with a great atmosphere — it’s well worth a visit! Love...

Food was decent.....just ok, passable. The waiter was unfriendly, did not make us feel welcome. He was quite affectionate with other tables....possibly tourists are not liked here? Very distressing, numerous items were unavailable. Of the 8-9 Entrée listed, they had only 3, Desserts exactly same thing...the excuse of "we use only fresh products"....yeah sure. I would definitely recommend going somewhere else. Waiter did not come back to our table after taking order, but seemed to gravitate to the customers speaking French....maybe a French Only sign will help...
