Its decent. Great views and seating area. The Lebanese dishes are not really what Lebanese food would taste like, but on its own, quite decent. If you do go, get a combo of cold and warm mezzes while watching the out at the ocean. We enjoyed the lunch and came back for dinner, but found that the service took a nose-dive; slow and unfriendly. Enjoyed the lamb tagine and vegetable couscous- it was decent but it tasted of cigarette smoke as both the tables on either side had people smoking "indoors"!!!!?!?! For dessert we had the babousa (cake with chocolatw glaze, candied nuts, poached pear and pistachio ice cream)- this tasted ridiculously good at lunch and super dry and meh at dinner. Also had the baklava dessert- DO NOT order! Its super heavy and disappointing-its butter cream sandwiched between a nut base and filo pastry. It sounded nice on the menu but tasted awful, especially combined with the smell of cigarette smoke. If the restaurant Umayya reads this review, please know that food is enjoyed by all senses. Cigarette smoke indoors doesnt go...
Read moreThis restaurant is a middle-east mixture of food kind of restaurant situated in an incredible location with beautiful views of the ocean.
The restaurant itself is very beautiful and well decorated with a nice morrocan style. The views are amazing and if has a small terrace in the back.
The food itself it was tasty, specially the desserts. The food was in a middle-east style done and it was interesting, but I found it a little bit boring. Like it needed something else so I could be surprised and said, wow! I’m not saying it’s bad, it was good, but not superb. The dessert was the only one I can say it was excellent, just a cheesecake, but really tasty.
The service from the waitress was correct when bringin the food to the table and reslly helpful, but not too friendly maybe because their english was very poor and could not comunicate.
Pricewise it was correct specilly for european standards.
There is some parking space outside and security at the door as in many other places...
Read moreIf it wasnt for the receptionist Ill give it 5 , so I went to the restaurant at around 22:45. The moment I walked in, the receptionist gave me a weird look—as if I didn’t belong there. I brushed it off at first and asked her to show me to a table. Instead of responding politely, she looked confused and rudely said, “What?” Then she told me the kitchen was closing soon and that I should order right away—before I even sat down. I didn’t say anything and just sat with my sister wherever we found a spot.
Thankfully, the rest of the service was amazing. I ordered dessert, and it came super fast. They even sang for my birthday, which I appreciated a lot.
But when I was leaving and stopped to take a few pictures outside—there was no one else around—the same receptionist gave me another rude look, like she had some personal issue with me. Honestly, I don’t know what her problem is, but her attitude was just unnecessary and...
