West.91 — Restaurant in arrondissement d'Anfa مقاطعة أنفا

This restaurant really seems to think highly of herself, and it shows. Indeed, there is much to be proud of: the design is exquisite, the clientele as chic as it gets, and the view of the water is quite nice. The orange juice is delicious (if not a tad too sweet) and the cappuccino is one of the best I’ve had in Morocco. But our order was delivered incomplete (sans salmon and beef bacon to accompany our eggs benny, which weren’t bad overall). With it came a yogurt cup: the yogurt itself was really good, but the topping of dried fruits tasted more like candy and was rather off putting. For their part, the staff were attentive and quick to remedy the mistake by delivering a sizable portion of beef bacon (my companion no longer wanted the salmon), which tasted much better despite not being made from pork — but hey, we can’t have it all in this life.

The table next to us seemed to have some issues with their order as well, but I have no way of knowing whether theirs were resolved. In all, West 91 is good and I may very well return, but not before I make my way around some of the other top...

I had a very bad experience at this place. The hosts were incredibly rude and unpleasant, with no smiles or welcoming gestures. The waitstaff were unprofessional, even using bad language in front of me.

I requested a seat with an ocean view 🌊, but one of the waiters rudely refused and directed me to a table next to the toilets, even though there was space available. After insisting, I was finally seated with my family, who had traveled all the way from the US. Despite this, the staff kept glaring at us with angry expressions throughout our meal.

To make matters worse, one of the waiters spilled a drink on one of my guests. Instead of apologizing, they argued that it was our fault and even charged us for the spilled drink! No apology, terrible behavior, poor service, and the food was just average.

This is not the first time I’ve had issues at this place—it's the third time! However, this time was far worse than the previous ones.

As a loyal customer, I was deeply disappointed and humiliated in front of my guests. I do not recommend this...
