Berber home tagine — Restaurant in caïdat d'Asni

we were part of a tour and I lunch was served here and honestly, it was the best tagine I have ever had. I’m not even lying. I have tried to jeans in different places and we really were licking our fingers and emptying our plates, the tomato and chilli dip at the start with Home bread was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed every part of that the chicken tagine was cooked to perfection. The vegetables were soft, well seasoned and the chicken was also well cooked, juicy and extremely delicious to finish it off we were given some fruits which were nice. The service was amazing. I’m told that this is a house which they have made into a restaurant and the food is authentic. Our tour guide said you will not find this tagine in Marrakesh in the main centre and he is right. I had a tagine in a Essouria and it was nothing compared to this one, the total bill was 700 MAD. Definitely worth it breathtaking views and so relaxing it’s...

After a wild journey on winding death-defying single lane roads through the mountains, we finally arrived. Our walk up from the road left me with many a thorn in my body - no beware that’s not grass on the way up! The spread was satisfying and delicious. Everything is functional simplicity itself, the food was great, try the red sausages, and the lamb! Rounded off of course with the traditional Moroccan mint tea....

Amazing place, with breathtaking views and a great and very friendly host (Omar) and his family. I strongly recommend this home, for the quality of the food, and also for the great peace of mind that you will get once there. Probably among my favorite lunch places...
