Chez Iziki — Restaurant in caïdat de Smimou

We sat down to eat at Chez Iziki as there were many people around and assumed the food would be great, but just as one review already mentioned, do not let this fool you! The pizza was awful, we took one bite and sent it right back, while the falafel was very pasty and it was not how you would usually find them. It gets worse. We found plastic in our falafel plate under the fries. The service seemed great when we were ordering, but thereafter, they barely acknowledged or apologized for anything when we politely pointed the faults out. When we asked for the bill, they had charged us 15 DH for the orange juice when the menu clearly stated it was 10 DH. Their fresh orange juice was by far the best...

I spend so many time in this restaurant during the last two weeks and was never disappointed. Sometimes when it is really crowded you have to wait a little bit for your food, but in most of the cases you get your food really fast - and it's delicious! For breakfast I loved the omelet with tomato! It was different than expected (tomato sauce instead of tomato pieces) but it is soooo good! But I ate also a lot of fish, chicken brochettes, tagines and couscous and was always really happy.
