Read moreLet me first say that the manager and staff were wonderful, and this review is not based on the service. However, it was offensive how bad the food was for the price. And forget the price- it was just poorly executed sushi. I ordered what I thought was a king crab roll and got a shrimp tempura roll with the tiniest bit of crab. I’ve had better shrimp tempura rolls from discount sushi dives in New York City. Not exaggerating at all here. We also got the 14 piece sashimi, which had zero flavor. The fish was so cold it was almost frozen. The only piece I thought was decent was the toro, which is always the best cut of sushi but it was also served too cold. Our server asked us to be honest about the food so we were- and the general manager did offer us complementary nigiri. He offered to sear the toro so I said ok. We got the toro and it was cooked through! The saddest thing to ever happen to a prime piece of sushi haha. But they did try to make things better for us. I think this is the biggest rip off I’ve ever experienced. Just go to Nobu. The prices here are higher than Nobu and the food nowhere near...
Read moreThe service was outstanding, beginning with our warm welcome by the hostess. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable, always ready to offer insightful recommendations. However, the highlight of our visit came when the manager approached our table with a genuine enthusiasm for the menu. After listening to our preferences, he expertly advised us on the best sushi options to try. His passion for the cuisine was evident, and his recommendation of the chef’s special roll, featuring a tantalizing blend of fresh seafood and inventive flavors, exceeded our expectations. To complement our meal, our bartender Joseph crafted exquisite cocktails that paired perfectly with our dishes. His attention to detail and creativity shone through in every drink, enhancing the overall experience. The refreshing flavors of the cocktails balanced the rich tastes of the sushi, making each sip a delight and naming our drink California Garden . Thank you for such a...
