I arrived at the hotel on February 13th 2025 around 10pm. They told me you don't have booking with us. We have a group and are fully booked. I insisted I have a booking and showed them the booking details. To make it short, they offered to take me to Alkabir hotel to spend one night and come back next morning. I reluctantly accepted the offer. They paid for the night. In fact, they took me to Alkabir hotel and from there to Caspion hotel, left me there for a while, then back to Alkabir hotel, probably shopping for a good price. I came back in the morning to check in. The receptionist asked me to pay municipality fees, I refused and said my booking includes all taxes and fees. No apology or how did they find my booking. They wouldn't have offered to take me to Alkabir hotel if it's not there anyway. Three days in my stay they told me you don't have breakfast with your booking, we argued and said fine, I am diabetic and just get some eggs, vegies and coffee so it doesn't worth the hassle of further arguing. I called the Agoda CS number in Morocco several times but it didn't go anywhere. I checked out on the 20th. After returning home, I reported the incident to Agoda, they said they will reach out to the hotel and get back to me. I'm still waiting to hear back from them. During my stay, I got to know the staff, one tried to explain what happened to me as an "Overbooking". No apology though. I never heard about overbooking in hotels. They are nice, at least after they knew about my case. They allowed a late check out. While I was searching for hotels, I have seen a review about similar incident at this hotel, I guess the guest name was Ben, but unlike me, he was turned away. The room is big, no carpet/rug or chair as in the pictures. Nice balcony. No soap as per other reviews, asked, got more shampoo, asked and asked and got bar soap (The shampoo, make sure its the clear one). One small elevator working. I'm small guy, so the toilet location wasn't an issue. Shower door doesn't close, so the first time water went pass the bathroom door into the room. Just put a towel underneath and you are fine. AC temp set at 30 Celcius. Water is hot and pressure is good in fourth floor. Good location, turn right or left and you are off to nice places to eat and get taxi. Even the airport bus shuttle station is close, its by Carrie Eden, it come every 30 minutes until 11pm. Be careful when you buy from small shops, they'll overcharge you even for items that have prices on them (e.g an item priced at 7.5 DH, he...
Read moreThe service is so bad... when we arrived as tourist we have requested to enter the restaurant. We have been told if you do not have a reservation then you may set far away from the sea.. although most of the tables near the sea were empty. After we sat we requested to have some sweet and coffee. We waited for our order then waiter approached us and told us .. if you do not order main course then please leave and go to other coffee shop which near the restaurant.. of course this is in addition being an insault it was very bad practice of a restaurant. So we left and returned back to our 5 star Hotel where we had our lunch with its sweet. Also the menu was in French only and no translation to English so we were not able to read it. In conclusion this is a very bad restaurant and I strongly advise you not...
Read moreI rarely write negative reviews, but this one is well deserved. I had a truly unpleasant experience at this restaurant. The food quality was far below acceptable standards — everything tasted off, poorly cooked, and lacked any freshness or care. Unfortunately, it didn’t just end with bad taste — a few hours later, I experienced stomach pain, which I strongly suspect was due to the food.
For the price they charge, you would expect at least something decent, but honestly, it’s absolutely not worth the money. I regret dining here and wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for safe, quality food. There are much better places to eat that respect both your health and...
