While visiting Laayoune, I was looking for a place that served authentic Middle Eastern dishes, and found this restaurant through Google Maps. It’s located on Essmara main street, and from the outside, it looks quite appealing — both the exterior and interior are nicely designed, which gave me high expectations.
Unfortunately, the experience inside didn’t live up to the appearance. The restaurant was extremely hot and lacked proper ventilation, which made it quite uncomfortable. There was also a strong kitchen smell throughout the space, suggesting a lack of air conditioning or airflow.
The staff showed little professionalism — service was slow, even though the restaurant wasn’t busy. It took far too long for my order to arrive, and when it did, the shawarma was very disappointing: small, bland, and lacking any real flavor. For what was served, the prices were unjustified, especially when considering the low quality and overall experience.
Honestly, I don’t recommend this place unless they make significant improvements to both the service and food quality. There’s potential here, given the location and design — but it’s currently being wasted due to...
