Olas — Restaurant in M'diq

Café has a really nice ocean view however there are many things to improve in terms of customer service.

Restaurant seems to be under staffed. We waited several minutes before our table was cleaned then we waited some more for someone to take our orders...AND waited even more for our orders to come in🤪 For a busy place like this, it is unacceptable!

Staff were not welcoming at all. Hospitality 101-- gotta be nice, a smile on your face, greet and welcome clients, make sure they're comfortable...etc. We didn't experience NEITHER, sadly! Our waiter just came in to take orders, when we told him we didn't have the menu, he came back and smacked them on our table😂 Like, I get it everyone has a bad day, but then we were treated the same way by 3 other people...ot was not nice at all!

Food wasn't the greatest, but in all fairness, all these restaurants taste the same 🥲

Cleanliness! With the location and the amount of clientele you get, I would expect the managers/owners to spend much more attention on the cleanliness of the place! It wasn't up to the scale of the restaurant, sadly. This is something to highly consider especially in shared places like restrooms.

Not posting this review to bring down the café/Restaurant, I'm pretty sure this won't hurt them, but I wish someone could take these remarks in consideration to improve their services. I really think (and hope) you can do better! Please get more staff and pay them well most...

This place doesn't deserve your money. We went to this place 2 days in a row. The first day it was busy, so we understood and didn't complain. The second day, the place was not busy at all. So after ignoring our section for 15 minutes, we finally got a server but when we tried to place a food order, the server said he can't take food orders, he can only take drinks orders so we had to wait an other 5 minutes for a food server. After sitting down for a while, we noticed that the servers mixed up 2 tables' orders around us and someone with kids got up and started arguing with the servers because they kept skipping his table. The servers ganged up on him and calmed him down. At this point it was just funny to us; however, everything changed when we tried to pay and I asked a server if he can possibly locate the food server so I can pay the bill. That server looked at me as if I am talking to a wall, I asked a second time thinking maybe he didn't understand me but nothing, he simply just walked away. I don't understand what it is with the servers on that top floor but they need to be retrained. I don't care for the location, there are so many other places that have a beach view, what matter is professionalim, fun friendly atmosphere and...

We went to have dinner there at night with 6 people, it is very difficult to find a big table so we just had to squeeze next to each other. It takes quite a long time until the waiter comes so we can order and you also have to wait a long time until they bring the food. The food is just super gross I had ordered a panini with fries. The fries were raw, you honestly couldn't eat them. The chicken that was in the panini had no taste it was like I was just eating bread. We had also ordered soup and pizza, those were also totally inedible. The service and quality is super bad, the prices are so expensive it's definitely not worth wasting your money there. Everyone is just smoking in the terrace even though it is completely forbidden to smoke but still they don't say...
