La Pasteria Gloria brings a welcome breath of fresh air to Nador’s dining scene. It is rare to come across a place in the city that attempts to deliver an authentic experience, and this restaurant clearly does so with ambition and heart. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and well thought-out. The interior is inviting without being overdone, and the service stands out for its attentiveness and professionalism.
The menu is well-curated, offering a range of Italian classics that immediately spark interest. Dishes are presented with care, and the visual appeal of each plate reflects a strong sense of pride in the kitchen. There is a clear intent to provide a refined dining experience.
However, while the concept and setting are strong, the food itself still has room to grow. The pasta, although homemade in feel, lacked depth and vibrancy. The flavors were mild and missed the fresh, bold notes that define truly great Italian cuisine. The pizza looked promising, but the crust felt slightly doughy and oily, suggesting a need for a lighter touch in the preparation.
These are not deal-breakers, but rather opportunities. La Pasteria Gloria has all the foundations of a great restaurant. With more focus on fresh, high-quality ingredients (ideally seasonal and locally sourced) and a chef with deep knowledge of Italian culinary traditions, this place could truly stand out. There is no doubt that with a few refinements in the kitchen, this could become one of the top dining destinations in the city.
La Pasteria Gloria is off to a promising start. If the kitchen evolves to match the quality of the service and the setting, this restaurant has everything it takes to become...
Read moreDisappointing experience despite cozy atmosphere The restaurant had a very cozy and inviting atmosphere, which initially gave us high hopes. Unfortunately, the rest of the experience didn’t live up to that.
Despite the place not being full, we had to wait nearly 30 minutes just to place our order. When the food finally arrived, it was wrong, we got penne instead of spaghetti. To make things worse, guests who arrived after us were served before us, which made us feel overlooked and downprioritized.
The service from the staff was far from friendly, and at 30 dirhams for a soft drink, it was by far the most expensive we’ve seen in Nador.
Overall, we left disappointed and won’t be coming back...

I just ate here and unfortunately, it was a big letdown. We ordered two pasta dishes and a pizza. The pasta was completely flavorless — really not good at all. The pizza, for some strange reason, tasted sweet… and pizza just shouldn’t be sweet. Very odd and not enjoyable.
What made the experience even worse was the service. I was supposed to get €6.40 back in change, but the waiter never returned. He simply assumed the money was a tip, without even asking — which it wasn’t. I found that very inappropriate.
All in all: bad food and poor service. I won’t be...
