Casa Mika Cafe — Restaurant in Inhambane Province

Charming little restaurant with a lovely French principal and I suspect the cook may also be French. Eclectic blackboard menu, with a very interesting selection of entrees and main courses. Cute covered outdoor dining area. 100% worth a visit. Great service, fair prices.

However, Mozambique is blessed with wonderful crayfish. Huge lobster style delicacies. Please, please, please cook them more gently, so that the texture is delicate and the sweetness is allowed to come through. It's not just here, but everywhere I've been in Vilankulo ... Why cook so hard that you lose the flavour AND texture?

Casa Mika was one of our favorite discoveries of Vilanculos! Mika was such a special human. And everyone who worked there was so kind! We feel lucky to have stumbled on this beautiful gem. The food was incredible! Atmosphere was gorgeous! And people (and doggos) were even better. Can’t wait to come back! And can’t wait to see Mika...
