The food here was fantastic be sure to check it out when in Tete. The place has warm colours and classy vibe with soft tones playing in the background. The pernil de gabrito was tasty but a bit on the dry side. The garlic bread or prawn starter is a must have. The waiters were very helpful and friendly and everything was of high quality. Well if you find yourself in Tete Mozambique and are looking for one of the best places in town to eat ..then head down to Mario's ..you will not be disappointed..the seafood there is Devine....a little hard to find but well worth it. The prawns and calamari are delicious had the same meal twice and it was perfect...enjoy a great meal with fantastic service...

This place came highly recommended and I am glad to have made the effort to go while in Tete. Most probably the best picanha steak I have had to date and from what I gather the seafood dishes are just as good. The location and external look of the restaurant is a stark contrast to the upmarket interior. A must...
