The restaurant is situated on the banks of the Zambezi River running through Tete (Moz Outdoor decks and creative use of local kapulana fabric and lighting decor, makes this a destination for a more authentic experience than all the so called restaurants in Tete.
Cafe Del Rio is for the person who is looking for something other than the generic badly prepared chicken and chips (!) - staple food in Mozambique.
The pricing is good and you get what you pay more unlike most other local restaurants.
