This great little stop on our road trip is so much more than a deli. Great fresh ground coffee or tea come with a homemade cookie. My cookie was coconut and delicious. The Lily Deli offers local Pup and Beard brand jams, chutneys, cookies and other date products. Try the stain removal soap. There's even some bread starters in colorful cloth bags. Slowtown Coffee Roasters offers several types of coffee. There's even a date seed coffee. The curio stand is small with a few unique items. Indoor seating only at picnic tables. The Lily Deli is a good option if you're looking to grab something to eat on the go. As it is located at the Maltahöhe Service Station, it's even more convenient to quickly pop in while you're refuelling. The deli itself isn't very large, however still has a decent selection of fresh and frozen items. Although we didn't sit down to eat, we did grab some sandwiches and coffees for the road. They weren't anything special, but still hit the spot. Just be aware, during my visit there were a large number of people at the service station just hanging around and asking for money.
