The Bean Tree Cafe — Restaurant in Oranjemund

We searched high and low for an eatery in town and found this to be the closest thing to a proper restaurant in Oranjemund. Although the wait for food was long (given that everything is prepared freshly), the portions were overly generous. All of us ended up taking doggy-bags despite enjoying the food. On the second day we shared the chicken salad plate which thoroughly enjoyed and managed to eat up. Awesome atmosphere but the service in Namibia sucks. We waited outside for more than 20 min if you don't go inside asking for service nothing happens. Also once ordered they never come back so if you need something in-between you have to go ask inside. Food was nice the first time. Second time way too oily for my taste. Prices are good....
