Hotel Green View & Lodge, Mangin Goth, 3285m — Restaurant in Ducheshwar

This excellent GH was a welcome sight is positioned right at Mangingoth Pass on it's own in the middle of nowhere. Coming from Kutumsang at 2500m, I thought this was a God sent wishing to avoid AMS. Even then it exceeded the recommended limit of 500m by 300m. Carrying on to Therapadi at 3600m would have been totally reckless. AMS aside, this has been one of the most comfortable stays so far coming from Sundarijal. I enjoyed the most amazing spring rolls in the attached restaurant that was beautifully decorated with Buddhist art n icons. Hotel Green View was a breath of fresh air. Attached bathrooms, hot showers, real mattresses, wifi, sound proofed rooms, and a cozy fire in the dining room make this the best place I have ever stayed while trekking in Nepal--certainly on the Gosaikunda trek.
