I'm afraid to recommend this because if it goes more mainstream, it might ruin the awesomeness of this place. Anyways, have you tasted Chatpate at Makhan Tol? This is tasty at the same level. ❌They don't sell bhelpuris though. ✔️Aloo Nimki✔️Chatpate ✔️Dahi-puri ✔️Pani-puri ̶❓̶T̶h̶e̶y̶ ̶a̶l̶s̶o̶ ̶s̶e̶e̶m̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶s̶e̶l̶l̶ ̶P̶a̶p̶r̶i̶c̶h̶a̶a̶t̶,̶ ̶b̶u̶t̶ ̶I̶ ̶h̶a̶v̶e̶n̶'̶t̶ ̶h̶a̶d̶ ̶t̶h̶e̶ ̶c̶h̶a̶n̶c̶e̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶e̶a̶t̶ ̶i̶t̶(̶a̶p̶p̶a̶r̶e̶n̶t̶l̶y̶,̶ ̶i̶t̶'̶s̶ ̶a̶ ̶s̶e̶a̶s̶o̶n̶a̶l̶ ̶t̶h̶i̶n̶g̶)̶.̶ EDIT: I got to taste their Papdichaat. Took me back to 15 years ago when I was eating the amazing Papdi chat by the roadside on those Steel thelas they used to have right infront of Tiptop at Bishalbazaar. Same taste but my only gripe is that Rai Dai uses flat panipuris as papris. It is definitely Rai Dais best offering but (1)it is not always made (2)it is not made with beaten chana flakes like a real papdi chat should be. I plan to buy my own Chana flakes from the Bigmart nearby, next time. 🔰Rating? If there's a scale I'd break it. Chatpate is awesome, just don't forget to ask for extra spicy and extra sour on your order. ❌Not open on Saturdays, unfortunately. There's a place to sit down with friends and enjoy the vibe as your order gets prepared at their counter. Nothing fancy, but very practical. ⚖️Comparision: I tried Jhyaple dai ko Chatpate(which is close by) and I have to say it was a HUGE dissapointment. Totally what I wasn't expecting from all the hype built on social media. Maybe this Aloo-Nimki place is destined to suffer the same fate(read:fame-fatale), but for now, it is scores and leagues better than anything else around Lalitpur 💯. Servings sizes are good. Chatpate can feed two people🔥🔥🔥Also, place is surprisingly light on your pocket. An order of Aloo-Nimki, Dahi-puri, and Chatpate will only set you back 190 rupees.

They have closed off and now only their hoarding board is present above their shed. Now you have to travel about 1km to Cool Brothers (Ekantakuna-Ringroad road) to get some decent laphing. Laphing experience has definitely upgraded, but I do miss the...
Read moreUnpopular opinion but I’m not a big fan of their Alu Nimki. I like the Nimki as it is (fresh & delish) but the overall taste isn’t anything spectacular.
BUT I’d like to say their Dahi Puri & Buff Momo are the BEST in town. As you take a mouthful of the Dahi puri, you can actually taste an explosion of flavours. The juicy and huge Buff Momo was a pleasant surprise as I used to order only pork & I’ve never ordered that since. They are generous with the momo achar as well and there’s something really different about it which I love.
It gets quite busy around lunch & Khaja time so I prolly suggest going there either 3 or 7pm. Despite the hectic environment, the staffs are always greeting us with a polite smile.
Totally recommend this place for 🔥 Dahi Puri &...
