🥩🌟🍴
Having visited Bajeko Sekuwa in Gatthaghar, Bhaktapur, I found it to be a decent spot for a hearty meal, reminiscent of its successful branches in Anamnagar and Sorhakhutte. However, a few aspects stood out.
The ambiance aligns with the familiar charm of its Kathmandu counterparts – a cozy setting with the tantalizing aroma of sekuwa in the air. The menu offers the same delicious array of grilled delights that Bajeko Sekuwa is renowned for.
While the taste and authenticity remain consistent, there's a noticeable difference in the service speed. The delivery of food takes a bit longer, and the overall pace seems a notch slower compared to the efficient service in Kathmandu. It's worth noting that the staff remains courteous and accommodating, despite the delays.
The quality of the sekuwa, though slightly affected by the pacing, still maintains its flavorful essence. Bajeko Sekuwa in Bhaktapur appropriately caters to the local palate, ensuring a taste of its popular offerings.
In summary, Bajeko Sekuwa in Gatthaghar, Bhaktapur, is a worthwhile stop for sekuwa enthusiasts. While the service might not match the swiftness of its Kathmandu branches, the familiar taste and welcoming ambiance make it a notable addition to the culinary landscape in Bhaktapur. Here's hoping for a bit more speed without compromising on the...

The sekuwa chain, which currently operates five restaurants and a banquet in the capital, intends to expand with the opening of three to four more locations there and 15 to 16 elsewhere. The restaurant now has more than a hundred different meal options, including various types of sekuwa, and the prices vary in accordance with those options. Twenty new locations across the nation are soon to be opened, according to the owner of Bajeko Sekuwa. The gatthaghar branch is one of the newest in the valley. we ordered chicken sekuwa set and was good, an the pyaj pakauda was decent as well. The service was good and tge staffs were decent as well. Even though they don't think restaurants should advertise in the media, they serve between 700 and 1000 guests daily and are confident in the caliber of their offerings. They believe on word-of-mouth advertising rather than paid advertising, and the quality of their service and food is what draws so many customers to the restaurant. They also intend to start selling frozen, ready-to-cook marinated sekuwa from the restaurants, which will also be sold in all major department stores, in addition to ...
Read moreWe used to go to this place regularly until we found a fly(insect) in our jhol momo (soup momo) and when we complained about it the staff and management simply denied their mistakes saying that the fly might have flown from outside while we were eating. They didn’t admit their lack of hygiene and cleanliness. We paid and left the food. We are never going back there again. As per food the portion of sekuwa is very little but very expensive. Chicken momo and chowmein is tasty. Khaja set is awful as it’s gravy curry is stale and also the marinated aachar is smelly. Service is slow. I don’t...
