I visited this restaurant on May 2, 2019, and ordered the fish soup. It tasted rotten and was extremely bitter. After returning home, I fell seriously ill with food poisoning—constant vomiting followed by diarrhea. The restaurant is extremely unhygienic, and the Nepalese government should take action against such places.
Shockingly, this restaurant doesn’t even have a menu. If the staff sense you have money, they charge you whatever they want. For instance, a regular Tuborg domestic beer costs 450 RS here, while you can get the same beer in a five-star resort for less than 350 RS, including VAT and service charges. The price for the spoiled fish soup was nearly 300 RS, whereas you can get a much better-quality soup for 250 RS in top resorts in Lekhnath and Pokhara.
