Karlo Restaurant and Bar — Restaurant in Tilottama

Only good thing about this restaurant was its ambience. Other than that, it's pretty bad. Been there 2 times. Ordered veg momo (common in Nepal) obviously. And, it was stale, the taste was horrible. We complained immediately, and the waitress came and tasted herself. And ate it with face winced(made a face when you dislike something) . However, her words were, we never serve bad foods here, it's really delicious and we only serve fresh foods. Instead of taking it in a positive way, she started saying stuff like it's the taste of momo. It's totally normal. Hence, I've given 1 star for service. Ordered pizza too. Which wasn't that bad. Located on the side of Butwal Belihiya 6 Lane road, there is parking area for bikes but your car has to be parked at side of curb. Decorations are elegant. Name Karlo seems to be Slovak, Crotian or Russian origin but menu do not show any dish belonging to the area. Chicken Patiala looked & tasted good, Thia chicken looked good but was chewy & dry. Good interiors with creativity to make atmosphere most friendly, easy access from highway, adequate parking, mini game parks for kids to hang out. Food is fine. The taste & freshness is there. But no signature dish for it's name. Will advise to have some innovation to stand out from other hotel chains around the locality, something special to give that cravings once in a while. Takeaways and home delivery is also available through food apps....
