Bakkerij Smaak Den Bosch 🍞 — Restaurant in 's-Hertogenbosch

Nice looking Dutch bakery. The bread is nothing special. Apart from the croissants that are quite good, the rest of the specialties are just frozen products you can find every where. I have bought kaas brodjes a couple of times and they were super cold, I had to warm them up at home. And since we are in the middle of the pandemic, i need to say how disappointing it is to see both sellers not wearing masks and not asking from the customers to wear one. Bakeries will remain open during the pandemic so it seems they don’t care about spreading the virus or delaying other shops...

A smart little bakery right in the centre, and first impressions count — the place looks clean, modern, and properly kept. I didn’t go through the motions of contacting them directly, but the presentation alone suggests they take pride in what they do. You’d hope the bread and pastries live up to the standard the shop sets, because it certainly gives off the right impression. On that basis, four stars — it’s rare enough to see a bakery that actually looks this sharp from the outside, and that effort deserves to...

Nice food, intersting combinations, well prepared - so for 5 stars but...

... everything was touched with bare hands several times :( Even the chocolatte / pralines. (See the photos - you can even See the fingerprints...)

What makes it even worse: One of the female colleagues touched her face and nose while preparing our food and sneezed in her hand.

In the end we threw away all the pralines.
