BAR35 — Restaurant in 's-Hertogenbosch

We ordered two cocktail they were both strong and rather bitter. These are very common cocktails so I’m not sure how they managed to make them incorrectly. Mojito and a Passion Martini. The food was very average fish n chips with salad. The fish was over fried with the batter very dark brown to almost burnt and dry. The salad had one slice of onion 3 small 1cm blocks of tomato and some lettuce. Not worth the €18,50! I ordered the Cheffs burger choice which was Brie, sautéed onions and a burger which was served between blue and rare.( I eat rare beef so that was fine) but most people would have sent it back which we had witness two people sending food back in the 20 minutes we were there. The burger combination tasted nice, the meat was good but for €19,50 it was not worth it. I had finished it in 4,5 bites. Perhaps if they had added bacon or some lettuce tomato etc it would have been more satisfying and more worth the cost. I believe with a manager monitoring the food and drinks coming out Bar 35 would be able to maintain much higher standards and quality. For a miserable fish n chips and one small burger and two poor cocktails it cost us €59.00. My recommendation would be to train the staff on cocktails and monitor the food that leaves the pass. Since the weather was lovely we decide last minute to have dinner at Bar35. Is was busy in the city as well as Bar35 but the waiter had table for us 4 on their terrace outside (with roof).

Lovely place were they serve the best burgers in town!

The staff delivered great service, brought quickly the menu and took our order for drinks. Drinks were served quickly as well. We ordered our Burgers and these were served within 15min with fries and mayo.

Our burgers tasted super, we really enjoyed it! All fresh ingredients, tasteful meat and bread was roasted.

Great value for price! Overall definitely recommend this restaurant (with tables inside) Wheelchair friendly....

It’s a decent place.

My biggest issue was the food. When we went to order burgers, they said they make the burgers “medium rare”, which is great, thats how I order and make them, however what we both got was medium rare in some parts and entirely raw in others. It was like eating ground beef. It was so undercooked I felt the need to address it, and I was basically told I was wrong and this is what medium rare is. An extra 30-60 seconds would have been great.

Otherwise, the drinks were good, and the environment was nice. I however would not recommend the burgers to anyone. Maybe it was an off-day....
