CÔTE Bar Bistro — Restaurant in 's-Hertogenbosch

Pretty disappointed with CÔTE to be honest. I picked this place because I heard about Den Bosch having a bit of a French vibe, it was on all the lists and didn't want to be spending crazy money and didn't want something casual. Really, I should have gone with my original shortened options. We booked for lunch, they put us in the back, in the corner where I was practically in a part for drinks or coffee, no vibe at all. Tables and dining all upstairs. Funny enough when you book 2 coursesand a bottle you would assume they'd treat you nicely. But, nope. Only great thing was the service. Nothing to fault from our serve staff. They were actually amazing. The food meaning our meat was bad. Beef bourguignon was dry and the only thing warm, my mash potatoes and beans were cold. For a place that positions itself as polished and guest-focused, that absence stood out as a weakness. To their credit, the team did eventually respond here with an apology and a phone number, which is at least some recognition of the issue. The dinning experience wasn’t pleasant. First the tables are way too small, we were with 6 for dinner, and only had 3 very small round tables that fits one plate each! So cutleries fall easily on the ground, no space for glasses, and each of us had part of our own place hanging on the edge of the table. Secondly, so many flies! I meant like every minute!
