What’s the point of a contact number and email if nobody replies to either? I sent a polite message — nothing complicated, just a respectful enquiry through the channels they themselves made available. But no response came back, not even a basic acknowledgment. For people trying to build a life from scratch — including those who arrived from abroad, like many Ukrainians seeking stability — it’s not about expecting favours. It’s about being met with the simplest form of respect: a reply. When even that doesn’t come, it leaves a lasting impression, and not a good one.
My original review was written in good faith after sending a polite enquiry by email and following up with a phone call. I was told my details would be passed on to the manager. Nothing ever came back. That alone is enough to leave a poor impression. Now, the response from the business attempts to shift blame by suggesting I either used the wrong email address or reviewed the wrong restaurant. Neither is true. I used the address and the number they themselves provided, and I have the record of my correspondence to prove it. To suggest otherwise is not only inaccurate but dismissive. The point is simple: if you advertise contact channels, then those channels must work. A customer should not be told, in effect, that their experience is imaginary. Such a reply only reinforces the original criticism — that people reaching out in good faith are not being treated with respect. It is regrettable, because a straightforward acknowledgment would have been enough. Instead, the choice was made to deny responsibility and insinuate fault on the part of the customer. That says far more about a business than any menu or décor ever could. For those of us who arrived from Ukraine, trying to rebuild life in difficult circumstances, even a simple reply matters. It is not about favours, but about basic respect — the kind every person deserves. Many Ukrainians who came here after losing homes and stability know what it means to reach out in need and be ignored. When even a small business cannot manage the courtesy of a reply, it speaks volumes about how lightly they...

Food came out fairly quickly and piping hot like it should. It was all nicely prepared, with decent portion sizes and was reasonably priced. It was all served with care and smile - impressive since I went during...
