I had my birthday dinner here last night & my main issue is with a man who worked here, possibly a manager, who I don’t believe has any understanding of how to deliver proper hospitality and service.
As a Black gay man, I am always quite vigilant about how me and my partner are treated compared to white customers as we have faced discrimination many times in the past. As Americans, we are much more used to what I would say is a higher bar for service given the tipping culture. Many restaurants especially in the Den Bosch area actually offer quite good service, but this place lost points for me on this front.
This man I mentioned who works here was very cold and unkind, and it completely soured our impression of this place. Apart from him, the rest of the staff were just okay but could also use some hospitality training. The price point of the menu is really good and you can tell the quality of the ingredients is great, so maybe another location would be better.
That being said, I will not return to this location again and seriously hope restaurant management take a hard look at the employees here to bring the service quality up to the standard a place like this...
