Nom Nom — Restaurant in 's-Hertogenbosch

I’m really disappointed with my recent experience at this café. We were a small group of three, and two of us had planned a surprise birthday treat for my sister. We ordered several dishes and the total bill came to €52.90, so we were not just sitting there with a single drink or small order.

Unfortunately, things didn’t go as smoothly as we hoped. One of the waitresses took our order down correctly, but somehow the wrong food was prepared and served. We politely explained the issue, and although she acknowledged the mistake. We decided not to make a fuss and accepted the food to avoid waste and keep the mood light for the celebration.

The biggest disappointment came later. Near the end of our meal, one of us brought out two small slices of cake for my sister’s birthday. A male staff member came over, quite abruptly told us that outside food is not allowed, handed us the bill, and asked us to leave. That is really rude.

I personally never saw any signs or there was no prior notice or mention of this rule when we arrived or ordered. His approach really rude and upset me, especially since we were paying customers and had ordered a full meal.

I was genuinely upset by how the situation was handled. This was meant to be a special occasion, and while the food was okay, the service and overall experience left us with a bad impression. We chose to leave quietly and continue our celebration elsewhere rather than escalate things.

I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and considers training staff to handle such situations more politely and...

Found 2 strange hairs in my food. The first one I thought: “ oh well this could happen sometimes, I will let it go though it felt a bit gross”. But then I found the second one…. I was like this is it, I cannot eat this anymore. I called the waitress over and she said (so certainly) thay it was MY HAIR… How could my hair fell so deep inside the food? Also the hair is clearly short hair when mine was long hair. It was like intertwined with the food wth… I mean they gave me the meal for free but that was not a pleasant experience.

My friends did not get hair in their dishes lol but they told me the food was ok,...

This was by far the best food and dining experience we had on our ten day trip in the Netherlands. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The vegetarian tapas that we had was inventive and delicious. We ate inside, and the ambiance was welcoming and lively. It was such a great experience that after a wonderful dinner, we returned the following day for lunch—two creative and artistically presented and delicious sandwiches.
