Pizzabar DEEG 🇮🇹 — Restaurant in 's-Hertogenbosch

We’ve visited the restaurant twice now and have generally enjoyed the pizza. However, during our last visit, we unfortunately had an unpleasant experience.

After a €37 bill, we paid €40 in cash, but the waiter never returned with our change. We waited for about 20 minutes, but when it became clear that it wasn’t being brought back, we decided to leave. While €3 may not seem like much, the lack of acknowledgment felt disrespectful and left a negative impression.

The pizza was really good, and original twist of traditional taste. But unfortunately our rating considers the whole experience including service and that is something they must work on as 1- the waiters seemed to be hungry as they were eating during the service and not taking care of customers 2- we wanted many times to order more but because they never show up we decided to leave and drink elsewhere 3- our table was serve but at least 3 different waiters in 45 minutes, one very rude, the second nice but never show up again and the third probably was her first day...

Sent a clear, straightforward email — received nothing in return. The public reply suggests they “did not receive any email,” which may be true, yet the lack of follow-up or even a courtesy acknowledgment leaves a distinctly poor impression. In any business, and particularly one serving the public, a minimal level of communication is expected. One hopes this silence is not in any way influenced by my Ukrainian origin, though there is no certainty — either way, the result is indifference and inattentiveness, which is not the hallmark of a professional...
