Recommended by locals (from the hospitality industry) also living in Amsterdam just like me. So maybe the standard was set high. Asking for the menu, cutlery, drinks and to order food while their was enough staff working on Sunday around 5 p.m. That was a bit of a disappointment.
Starters were ok. Carpaccio's with foie , smoked eel but steak tartare was lacking some love.
Mains. Chateau briand 500 grams. Ask for med/rare got med/well (outsides were grey).
When the check up on us during diner we told him (blond young guy). He did nothing with it.
Spending €300,- for diner and drinks and getting this kinda service is not a nice experience. My father & mother in law wanted to leave directly after finishing our food.

Entering the restaurant we were welcomed friendly and directed to our table without waiting. Shortly after that our drinks are delivered.
About the food we can only be positive. The taste, decoration and price was for us perfect. Can't find any negativity about the service or the products.
