I had the four course meal and enjoyed it very much.

Service: The service is amazing. The communication was elegant, professional and down-to-earth at the same time, I truly appreciate the host.

Another plus was that the host realised that I’m a fast eater and sped up the rate dishes were served. Great initiative, shows that he truly cares about the customers’ comfort

Chef also came out to present a dish and was very polite and professional

Food: Although there was too much food, each dish was well thought of. I have explored many flavours in each dish during the 2-hour sitting. Meat and fish were seasoned and cooked to perfection, vegetables tasted fresh

The only detail was that amuse bouche overshadowed the starter dish for me. It was a bit too much flavour to start the meal imho. Maybe it is different for other people who take their time between the dishes.

Atmosphere: Amazing atmosphere. Great lighting, great music. Everything was calm and it was easy to talk to each other

Price: Very fair price for the quality and the amount of food and for a great service

I would definitely considering coming back if I’m somewhere around Den Bosch in the future. Definitely...

Excellent and well known upscale restaurant in the centre of Den Bosch. We went for the 6 course tasting menu that was celebrating the chef's 50 years in the kitchen. And it's fair to say he has learned a lot in that time as the food was wonderful. Practically perfect. Very good wine list but only limited choice by the glass on offer. The muted decor of the interior was easily illuminated by the friendly and efficient waiters. A slight complaint would be the extended time it took to get through the whole meal but we weren't in a rush.

Brilliant gourmet experience. Expensive. But you get what you pay for.

Fabuleux is een aardig restaurant maar lijkt meer te willen zijn dan het is.

De inrichting is zo op het eerste oog fraai. Een klassiek ornamenten plafond en indrukwekkende kroonluchter. De kunst aan de muur en verlichte zwarte bar ontnemen wat aan die grandeur. De akoestiek is redelijk, maar zou kunnen worden verbeterd om een rustigere ambiance te creëren.

Het restaurant biedt een concept dat de gangen gedurende de avond zo’n beetje gelijktijdig worden uitgeserveerd, en om die reden dient iedereen kennelijk tussen 18 en 19:30 in het restaurant te zijn - zo werd mij vooraf gezegd. We hebben gemerkt dat het concept niet zo wordt uitgerold; gedurende de avond worden de gangen niet synchroon uitgeserveerd. Sterker nog, uiteindelijk werden nog hoogdgerechten geserveerd terwijl andere tafels al klaar waren met het nagerecht. Waarom iedereen dus op tijd moeten komen is ons niet erg duidelijk.

We hadden het 4 gangen diner besteld en tussen gangen 2-3 en 3-4 moesten we wat lang wachten (steeds rond een half uur). Het viel ons op dat bij andere tafels wel erg actief werd bijgeschonken tijdens het wachten.

De eerste twee gangen waren overigens erg goed. Mooie smaakcombinatie met wat krachtige tinten. Het hoofdgerecht was niet erg bijzonder. Het vlees was wel goed bereid maar het hele bord was verder een beetje eenvoudig opgezet. Het zoete nagerecht was eveneens een verzameling van weinig bijzondere elementen.
