I contacted Samy’s Eetcafé during a particularly challenging period, hoping to find a short-term opportunity while temporarily based in the area. My message was polite and clear, outlining essential details relevant to any lawful employment inquiry. The reply I received, however, opened with a pointed question about work permits — a question that, in context, felt unnecessary and a little too sharp-edged. It’s possible no harm was intended. Perhaps it was a poorly chosen phrase, or a standard question asked without much thought. Still, when someone reaches out with sincerity, the tone of the response can carry more weight than expected. To their credit, a follow-up invitation for a conversation did arrive some days later, but by then the tone had already been set, and I chose not to pursue it further. This review isn’t about the food or the atmosphere — which I haven’t experienced — but about the impression left by the exchange. Businesses that welcome contact should take a moment to read with care and respond with clarity. Three stars, because first impressions matter — especially when someone’s reaching out...

Worst experience weve ever had. The waiter didn't attend us and preferred to attend the guys table next to us that arrived after us. Then she got the order wrong even when we told her three times and when she brought it to the table (after almost 30 mins) we told her but she refused to change the plate. She just said "no" twice to us saying she was right and that was what we ordered even when it was her mistake...

We didnt want to make a scene so we just took what she brought even was not what we ordered for.

Im not gonna talk about how long it took to pay..

Lovely place but disappointed that a table was free with fire on it, I was waiting for the leaving people to pay, the young weiter said first yes we can sit after he said he will replace people from another table beacouse we are a couple the other people are in 4.i was so disappointed as I traveled to den Bosch and I really wanted to have that specific table, where actually people were leaving by luck..
