Well well well! I wasn't going to write a review because I agreed with the lady because she didn't charge me for the masala kip because it was so bad and tasteless. But when seeing later I had been charged 3 euro for chutney I had with my popperdams I thought no no your taking the piss. Popperdams should come with mint sauce/ chutney/small oinions and a small veg pot period. We got thick mint sauce and what seemed to be a pot of dirty water for a dip.(yuk,) Also the place was so cold I didn't take of my light jacket they didn't read the room that I was cold ,my warm starter came out cold and I had to send it back it was nothing special no real flavour very bland. Kingfisher beer was OK thou, we then got the garlic naam bread with was not like it was a few years ago it was flat but I was told it was out if a clay pot ,I don't really believe him as being so flat in a claypot it would of gone through the bread and would off been burnt.(maybe came out of a toaster) Anyway the main course was next , I thought ok lets just forget want we eat and hope this makes up for the rest which it didn't!My sons masala kip was petty nasty I'm surprised he eat the kip on its own and left the sauce , only until I eat mine then had a bit of his sauce I realised how bad it was. My kip korma was very wet and not buttery at all it all lacked flavour, everything did. Unfortunately I would never go back even thou we didn't pay for the masala the whole...
Read moreWe've never had such an awful experience in any Indian restaurants we've tried so far in our life. We can't share the score got by this place because: 1) bad unfriendly service, staff pretend not to understand English when they do not have something or don't want to accomplish clients requests- 2)- horrible hygienic state, staff touching food with unclean hands after having touched the rubbish !!!(seen with our own eyes)- 3)-miserable-not real Indian- food, cooked with no sauces,no good spices and vegetables promised by the menu is just fried onions and paprika. Asked for extra rice, served not warm and very dry. Too priced for the offered no-quality. This place should be checked and shut forever!! They just rob the poor passing-by visitors. NEVER AGAIN ! Bad advertisement for such a beautiful town like...
Read moreThis was on the expensive side of food I have ever experienced in Denbosch and also the food was never good.
We ordered biryani (which is a classical Indian food) and what we got was the same rice mixed with the meats for every type of biryani. This is not the way! As an Indian I felt offended. There was sambar (which is a South Indian lentle dish) with biryani which is unheard of. Cheap wines (the cheapest you can get in Jumbo) Spirits were expensive and they don't have a clue which one they have in stock. The quantity was not right (we prefer quality over quantity, but both were non existent) The manager and staffs were always on phone and we have to wait alot. Crude 'candle' thing for keeping food warm was hilarious It was a noisy...
